Tutor

Amira has been playing drums since the age of 5, when she started having lessons with Alistair (principal and tutor of TMH). She has had a passion for the drums ever since and loves to share and perform with others. She is currently working on her Grade 7 drum exam, aspiring to eventually reach Grade 8.

Amira has experience performing with various bands and group including; United Churches Gospel Choir in Wolverhampton. She has travelled throughout the UK playing in a variety of events such most notably a pre show for artists such as Beverley Knight. Her ambition is to travel the world playing the drums, as a professional musician.

Amira has grown up with her life revolving around the church, which has definitely influenced the way she plays. She loves to explore the gospel/fusion ways of playing the drums, learning new skills and techniques constantly. She loves to share her knowledge and understanding of the drums with other people, hoping to inspire the next generation of young drummers.
